These days, we’re dealing with a lot. It can often seem like the comfort and safety of the world got pulled from under us.
It’s perfectly normal to feel fear and apprehension as a result.
We may even go as far as to panic sometimes. Because throughout the year, there have been many situations that could trigger such a reaction.
After it happens many times over, you might feel like your power is weakening. And all these negative emotions might start rushing in.
So, what do you do when it happens?
I want you to realize that you have so much strength to tap into.
Not only that, but you also have everything you need within you. This includes comfort, safety, and everything else that you might be longing for right now.
But the thing is, it’s not always easy to tap into these resources. They might seem a bit more hidden in challenging times.
But make no mistake, they’re as present as always.
The question is…
How do you reach those resources that you need?
Here’s an exercise that you can do as soon as you finish reading this email:
Close your eyes and take a few long, slow, deep breaths. Exhale slowly, following your breath to its end.
Then, put your hand where you feel the most strength in your body. Breathe into that space deeply and you’ll notice this energy vibrating within you.
Sit with this strength for a while, and then start moving it where you need it the most. It might be your head, shoulders, or any other spot where you feel tensed and closed off.
Wherever you’re feeling fear, sadness, or frustration, move your strength there and breathe deeply into it.
As you do this, you’ll notice all your resources surfacing and healing those areas of apprehension.
Do this regularly and you’ll see just how much strength lies in you.
